Privacy Policy
This policy explains how IM Management LLC (“Draxl”, “we”) handles personal information on draxl.ai and in the Draxl application.
What we collect
- Account information: your name, email, practice name, practice area and state, and the identifier your Google or Microsoft account shares when you sign in. We receive only your basic profile and email from them, never your password or mailbox.
- Customer Data: the documents, matters and other content your practice uploads. You control it; we process it only to provide the Service to you.
- Billing information: handled by Stripe. We see your plan, billing status and the last four digits of your card, not the full card number.
- Usage and security data: sign-ins, actions recorded in your practice's audit log, and counts of AI drafts and tokens used. We don't store AI prompts or outputs in usage logs.
- Website: information you submit through the waitlist form.
How we use it
To provide, secure and support the Service; to bill you; to send service and account notices; and to improve the Service using aggregate usage that doesn't contain Customer Data. We don't sell personal information, don't use Customer Data for advertising, and never use Customer Data to train AI models.
Service providers
We use these providers to run the Service, under contracts that limit their use of data to providing services to us: Vercel (hosting and file transfer), Neon (database), Amazon Web Services (Amazon Bedrock, for AI drafting; see the AI Use Policy), Stripe (payments), and Google and Microsoft (sign-in). Data is stored in the United States.
Security
Each practice's data is separated by the database itself, data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access inside a practice follows roles and ethical walls, and significant actions are recorded in a tamper-evident audit log.
Retention
We keep Customer Data while your subscription is active and for 30 days afterward so you can request an export, then delete it from active systems, except data under a legal hold or that we must keep by law. Backups roll off on their normal schedule.
Your choices and rights
You can access and update account information in the app. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your personal information; email us to use them. For Customer Data about your clients, we act on your practice's instructions, so clients should contact their attorney.
